Great until you need help, then frustrating!

Easy to use, although not always clear. Very frustrating to finish, it told me I was done, Congratulations, but still had to find a way to finalize the return. Took 45 minutes and AI assistant was no help, started answering me in Spanish. Finally stumbled across the selection I needed. No phone number to get real help. Ready to break something!

Expensive

Easy to use., but your fees are too high. Your advertising is misleading. It is not free to file as you claim. If I didn't have multiple 1098 for my refinanced, I would have used a different way to file my taxes.

TurboTax is expensive

TurboTax charges just too much, and now they added $40 processing fee just for taking payments from your federal returns. That forced me use alternative option, which require paying upfront, when I am a little cash strapped. I am now looking for a new software for next year tax returns, I am now done with TurboTax. Such a shame, loved the service, but the expenses just too much for a filer that filed taxes without any assistance.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

5 Star Product and Service!! Wish I would have used this my entire life instead of only the last two years. Follow the prompts and take your time and it all comes together a smooth and painless and taxes go. Additionally, in the middle of my work, I received a no-charge courtesy call from a tax expert to give me a confidence boost! Thank you again!! Gene answered a key question I had about a house I sold in 2024. Thanks TurboTax. Lifelong customer here!
