TurboTax is great until you need to fix a schedule

Normally it would not be hard to do TurboTax , but for whatever reason, this year I had a really hard time, trying to correct my schedule C and editing it. As a result it took me an additional 3 hours to fix the error. I had to reach out for help on the Community Forum, whcih still was hard for me to navigate without screencaptures or walk through. I needed to get a live agent in which I was able to share my screen to be able to correct the error. I needed to delete everything and re-enter it in order to delete schedule 4797 on Schedule C of the Tax Return.

Corporate lobbying is bad, actually

Turbotax is a very helpful service, but the company, Intuit, also lobbies in Congress to make it harder to file taxes and to squash alternative filing methods, so that they can profit off of something you are required to do. Make of that what you will.
