My experience with TurboTax is frustration. This company has a track record of lobbying for a convoluted tax system, effectively forcing citizens to purchase their products out of sheer necessity. Instead of simplifying the process, they profit off the complexity they help maintain.
As if that weren’t enough, their relentless upselling tactics make a frustrating situation even worse. They constantly push more expensive services and products, often when customers are already feeling vulnerable and pressured.
It’s incredibly disheartening to see a company prioritize profit over the well-being of its customers. I use it because I HAVE to not because I WANT to.

It was pretty clear though sometimes I had to re-confirm using Chat GPT (for example, concerning EV vehicle). Turbo Tax just didn't list my vehicle. Chat GPT explained why Toyota Prius was not eligible for Federal credit (assembled in Japan, not USA)
