TurboTax simplified !!

Turbo Tax has always been our go to for filing taxes every single year since working and I wouldn't choose another. They make it so simple for the everyday person.

Frustration overload

Difficult to automatically input 1099 R, INT, etc. information. I had to do it twice and hand load the data. Also, I encountered an issue with updating the program that I downloaded (cost $61) so I was forced to use the on-line program for a cost of $128. And I've yet to receive a refund for the $61 I spent for the download so it's costing me around $190 to use and file with turbo tax. I don't understand why it cost twice as much to use the on-line application but this is ridiculous. I'm 72 years old and feel that I have been taken advantage of because of my limited technical capabilities. I've used turbo tax (CD install) for a decade now and this has me thinking about H&R Block going forward. Shame on you

You oversimplified too much. Last your Turbotax seemed much more intuitive to me. Probably won't use it next year.

I spoke with a Turbotax representative about an RMD error pop up that was preventing me from filing my taxes. She was very helpful and walked me through correcting the issue.

Easy to use, watch out for hidden fees

Service is really easy to use, I just miss the free option. Now there is a bunch of hidden fees, like fees for direct deposit to your own bank but its free to create a new credit karma account, why?
