I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and this is the first year that the system did not preload all my personal info and give suggestions based on my previous return. This forced me to spend at least twice as much time on my return as I have in the past

Constantly required to upgrade package

I feel like there are a lot of hidden fees involved in this process. My tax situation is not very complicated, yet I still had to purchase the $139 package to be able to submit my tax return. I like how quick and relatively easy the online filing is though, I guess it's a perk worth paying for. I wish Turbotax would not advertise free tax return filing when it so rarely applies to most people.
