Not worth using even when free.

I chose the TurboTax Premium and have been using it for the last ten years. Overall it works extremely well. I have never had an audit (knock on wood) and it is very simple to use. It asks plenty of questions and holds your hand through the process. Their back button could use some work as it doesn't take you to the screen you were just on so that is very confusing, and sometimes you have to redo some sections that you thought you already did. Also there weren't help or learn more options for some of the more specific choices, like capital gains options. But overall it was pretty inexpensive, helpful, more or less intuitive, but most importantly, I did all in my underwear while sitting at home. And that I think is the biggest selling point.

It's OK. RMD instructions were not clear especially with a QCD. Too hard to see what schedules are computed behind the signs. Such as Schedule 1. This needs more transparency.
