Shameful Pricing Model

The pricing model was not clear at all before the return. The process of entering my information was straightforward, but I was extremely surprised by my $177 total cost at the end ($99 federal and $39 per state for 2 states apparently). I'm in shock this price after having $0 returns in previous years. I'm even more surprised that this price was not clear when I started my return, especially the $99 federal. Shameful, TurboTax

Turbotax is Awesome!

Overpriced and a huge waste of time. I had to refile 3 times so far. And even if it was filed correctly the first time, it's still overpriced. Always coercion to spend more, no refund, and no other options for reducing the price that's forced on you. This was advertised as "filing for free" but it costs waaaaay more than just hiring an actual person to do your taxes. Even filing 3 times, if I had to pay each refile, for a cheap IRS free link would have been faster and cheaper. I completed regret switching to Intuit Turbotax.
