Turbo Tax Is Lazy and Flawed

There is a major error in the handling of 529 distributions. the software does not allow for qualified educational expense to offset distributions. This has been a known problem (according t multiple online sources) since the witer and has not been updated/fixed. Shame on you. Had I not known to manually exclude this information I would have faced a $30,000 tax liability. Additionally, I now have increased audit risk due to my workaround of excluding the distribution.

Turbotax online removed the substantiate vin

Still needs improvement

After using TurboxTax for 20 years, I feel there is still much improvement needed. Part of the issue is there should be better integrations with banks, investments, HSA providers, etc so that the numbers are auto populated. There really shouldn't be room for interpretation.

Using Turbo Tax to file my taxes was convenient with helpful tips. Questions and answers provided were accurate. I would recommend using Turbo Tax for filing taxes for personal and business.

Turbo tax is a cool tool and very helpful

I like how it has hint boxes to help ease a first time user on completing taxes with out it being scary lol.
I truly did enjoy using turbotax and the little animation made it a bit cooler then having to go and wait at a tax place and everything was accurate because it used fidelity to input all my info.
