2024 Software Version not as simplified as before

This year I filed as a senior citizen and I wasn't aware that 1040 form was different. The navigation and format was different and a little confusing from previous years. All the help links did not work to explain every choice. Even though the information might of remained the same as previous years I still like to check and make sure because tax rules is always changing. In the final stages I found it to be more confusing with forms that did not need to be signed and were only used to promote Turbo Tax needs. The Federal and State Tax amounts were easier to view during the process at the top before. This year I actually had to triple check everything as I was unsure of my entries and actually saved it and came back to it at a later date. My honest opinion is that this newer software didn't make filing taxes easier for me. No senior citizen discount filing package offered I paid the same filing fees as the previous year. (2023) No promotions for loyal customers even after a decade with filing with Turbo Tax. It actually took more time this year. It's finally done but if you want my review here it is.

The website has been improved over time with specific knowledge and great set up regarding the specific forms sometimes not too common for people. The price should be improved, I have used TurboTax since 2019 and I have always ended up paying about $200 for the benefits promoted.
