New is not always better

I have used Turbo Tax's CD version before this year. This year was very different and somewhat confusing. I am a CPA and have done taxes for over 50 years. I realize the tax laws have changed over time but it was difficult for me this year. The old CD version was better for me.

I've found Turbo Tax to be a reliable, accurate, and a relatively easy answer to getting my taxes filed in a timely manner while maximizing any refund and decreasing the time spent on the entire process.

It works but has a lot of problems

It is still easier and less scary than filling out paper returns, but I would have missed some tax breaks if I didn't continue struggling to find them in the extra menus and know about them in advance. Navigating some of the screens is torturous. After I have already declined an extra product or service, don't keep asking me again!
