Complex Turned Confident

Taxes this year were a little intimidating because I had a lot of special conditions but it was easy once I took my time and used all the suggestions and resources provided with the Premium feature. I did need to switch to my computer instead of the app, but it was well worth it. I felt very accomplished afterward.

Just Don't Sell Your Information

I use TurboTax consistently for its convenience, but I hate how aggressively certain elements are formatted. This service makes multiple attempts at acquiring consent to sell your information, which is not necessary. Even if you decline, they will prompt this again, only disclosing somewhere in the 2nd paragraph that it is truly not necessary. Additionally, a "Processing Fee" will be added to the "TurboTax Fee", which should be included inherently, because TurboTax is a Tax Processing service. The profit-hungry redundancies we encounter come across as disrespectful, and take away significantly from the otherwise smooth services provided. No tax preparation service should be permitted to gather and sell their users' personal information.
