I've used turbo tax for years. I never will again. The expense is one reason; The information given to explain many things was not helpful. My estimate to complete it was 45 minutes .I'm approaching 3 hours now. I think I can do better. This was very frustrating. The past years were much easier.

Turbo Tax is the best.

As usual, TurboTax did all the heavy lifting for me and I was able to complete and file my 2024 Fed and State taxes in one afternoon. I have nothing but good things to say about the process. Any questions I had were answered by just a click of a button. I'm confident the returns are done correctly, providing us with the smallest tax liability possible. And in this case, the max refund.
