Turbo Tax is quick and easy

Wish I could pay in advance to see forms

I really like Turbo Tax as it is thorough and complete. However, every year I waste time at the end because of a typographical error that I cannot correct until I pay for it and look at the forms and find the mistake. The program prevents my paying for it until a later stage when I then must back track a lot and even change state forms.

Easy Filing. Don't Trust Any "FREE" Promotions.

Overall, satisfied. Charges for services are a little confusing. I got an email saying I qualified for a free federal return (by 2/28), but when I logged in to get it done (2/21) there were absolutely no free options. I didn't feel like looking around for another free federal tax return service, so I ended up paying $90 for what I thought was going to be free. Otherwise, service was fine. I didn't have a complicated return. Anyone with their tax forms in hand could have completed the task.

Turbo Tax Is Great with One Bug

Everything was great with the exception that you have a bug in your software. When you scan your 1099-G form in from a picture, it duplicates box #1 into the "other income" as an RTAA. I didn't catch it until after I filed then had to wait 2 weeks to ammend due to software not being ready.
