Great tool, sneaky practices

Product is great and I love the step by step instructions. I went back to Turbo Tax after trying out an accountant - way more transparency with TurboTax! What I don't like is the sleazy, salesy aspect. For example, when you go to file, it is hidden that there is a $40 dollar surcharge until you click through on the most obvious option, you get asked to upgrade and add MAX at least 4 times, and it is easy to misunderstand of this and get confused. So, three stars for being predatory.

Your service overloads the customer with upcharges that are unnecessary for the majority of users. I have fairly simple tax returns yet this still cost a great deal of money to use your service. Your lobbying against to the US government to avoid simplicity in the tax filing process is an awful practice and intentionally costs tax payers unnecessary time and money.
