Discounts and forms 8332 & 8453

I have been using TurboTax for 25 years because of how easy & user friendly it is, but and I have never been given and discounts for the service at all. TurboTax just offers a reduced price in which that is offered to all that qualify nothing more. In addition, forms 8332 & 8453 should generate in application once it is recognized and offer print/ sign/ upload option if wet signature is needed. The application only discloses that you may need to file such forms with a more information link that says forms can be printed during review just before transmission which is not accurate. For the last 4 years I have needed to file such forms and having to change from e-file to file by mail delayed my tax refund.

Troublesome overall

I have had some difficulies filing. First the Federal Form (not Turbo fault) had the wrong zip code for Thrift Savings Plan. Had to get that corrected (difficult). Then I was not aware of a 1099 for my RMD from Fidelity Investments. . Then I had to add these to my taxes creating amended returns. Finally I am now ready to file the federal tax. But the State tax must be mailed in thru postoffice. Somehow I got caught up in a loop that kept referring to the same items i had just completed.Now to file by postal.
