As someone who’s always been wary of tax season, I was genuinely impressed with TurboTax this year. The software makes the entire filing process so smooth and easy, from start to finish. The user-friendly interface walks you through each step with clear instructions and helpful prompts, so you never feel lost or confused.
TurboTax’s ability to auto-import your W-2 and other tax documents saved me so much time. The platform’s accuracy and thoroughness were spot-on, ensuring that all deductions and credits I was eligible for were captured. I loved that I could also get expert advice from a CPA or EA right through the platform—this added peace of mind, knowing I had professional support if needed.

Way to expensive for a simple return

It was simple to use except where it kept pushing you to “buy” all the added protections. The price plus extra fees just to file a simple return is outrageous.

I am changing platforms

Up selling cost me additional time last year and this year. The uploads /imports are difficult to accomplish. I have been with this company for decades, but i will maintain my records better this year in order to easily shop for a much simpler format. No hard feeling just too expensive for the hassle....

Worst year ever.

Worst year ever. Documents won't autoload; help tips are not helpful; constantly pushing sales, fees, and upgrades; confusing layout; and forces reentry for obscure tax situations anytime you want to review a previous section. OR returns are a mess. It seems pretty clear they're making the less expensive options as unusable as possible.
