Another tax year down with Turbo Tax!

Overall, it was very easy to use. I love how everything gets pulled from my 2023 tax return. One area that could be more easy apparent is how to import charitable contributions from ItsDeductible. I was able to figure it out, but it should have been much easier and clear from the get go.
Federal was okay. However I am not able to e-file my state (of Oregon) and local income tax filings because of problems with the state of Oregon software.
2 issues emerged as follows:
1) I was told that there is an error on the designation of a child who is over 21 who has disabilities. However, I know that this is legitimate and has been reported in previous years the same way (but the software is saying I have an error and have to uncheck the box).
2) The (state of Oregon) model that tests for penalties on estimated payments has a line 6 that has adjustments. If they are entered as negative, an error is registered and I am told the amounts must be greater or = to zero. If I change these by removing the negative sign, the message changes and says the amounts must be less than or equal to zero. I finally got frustrated and set the amounts to zero and was still stuck with the inability to e-file because of the child with disabilities who is over the age of 21.
I am now having to mail file the state and local tax returns and am really unimpressed that I paid this money for software that fails to allow me to e-file.
While the tax information is very helpful and "help" buttons are great resource of tax knowledge, there were so many times that I was stopped to add extra services after I had already declined them multiple times. While paying for service, at the last possible moment, one is informed of the processing fee if you choose to pay Turbo Tax with your refund. There were also multiple times that Turbo Tax gives you no other option than to accept that Turbo Tax's use of your personal information for their business purposes. Giving the client not other option but to consent to Turbo Tax's to use personal customer information. At this point it feels like a customer is paying for the tax service with money AND their own personal information.
