Turbo tax lies about cost to file

You advertise $99 to file but end up charging $178 at the end . Probably my last year using this service because of false fee advertising.

I recently had to amend my 2024 taxes due to the receipt of a schedule K-1 1041 that my wife and I were unaware of. The process to amend my federal and state taxes was very easy once I got over a hurdle on some PA state specifc questions as I could not determine how to properly complete the form as it was mentioning that I did not have any state specific taxable income for this form. With the expert assistance of one of your associates, she was able to guide me though the process and file both amendments. Wanted to thank her so much for all of her help.

Easy to use, and accurate

Have used it for years. Love the way they save my info and compare info year over year to help me make sure I haven't forgotten something. Very easy use and fast. I wish I could pull up the actual forms as I am working on the tax return. Some of the answers to my questions were not helpful.

online not as great as download

This was my first year to use your online service vs the download (which I have done for over 10 years now), and the choice to import information from the previous year's taxes was NOWHERE to be found. I literally had to search for the answer from outside your software. It was buried. Boo.
Even with importing previous year's taxes, online was still adamant that standard-deduction was gonna be the thing; I had to force it to consider itemized-deductions, which were on last year's imported return.
Also the "get your direct-deposit 5 days early for $25 fee" for my taste is too much like a pay-day loan. Its a bad look, you are better than this.
