Don't keep asking me 18 times during the process to upgrade the service. I said no once. I'm not going to change my mind. It's disruptive to what I'm trying to do. Either keep a static button on the page I can use to upgrade at will, or ask once and then don't ask again. Hassling me throughout isn't going to make me more likely to want the enhanced product. Also, a little more transparency in costs would be welcome. I thought I was paying $89 for the service. Then I get to the end and there's a $40 to direct deposit my refund...and somehow 89 plus 40 adds up to a total fee of 168 paid to TurboTax? I don't know what else I paid for.
I find this website to be very user friendly, and the process to be fast. My taxes aren't really that complicated, but they are more than 1040EZ, and this website allowed me to file federal and two separate states in one fell swoop.
Terrible experience and wish it wasn't such a pain to use a different tax product. I use an IP PIN for security and they will never show where it needs to be entered unless the return is rejected several times. Even then, you have to ask help for a specific location to update it before they take you there. Ridiculous!
