Turbo Tax is most common tax software.

PROGRAM IMPORTS INCORRECTLY

The program imported the previous years W-2 for myself incorrectly. Somehow 2022 W-2 was imported to the Feds and State instead of 2023 W-2. Didn't realize the issue until I got a notice from the IRS and the "experts" at Turbo Tax were unable to help. I wouldn't pay extra for their supposed help as they do not know a hole in ground from their head. And if you use the green block people ask them to price match otherwise you'll pay exorbitant fees.

Not as simple as in previous years. Also led me through a confusing set of questions that deceived me into purchasing a more expensive product than I wanted.

TurboTax helped me get my taxes done in less than 70 minutes! Love the photo snap feature to documents. Saves time typing all of that data in, especially for stock sales. Way to go! I've using TurboTax for over 10 years and it gets better every year. No other tax software can compare to the speed and accuracy of TurboTax.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
