Frustrated w/ overall experience & upsell tactics

Went through an absolutely endless maze of questions often made more difficult by unclear wording or lack of explanation as to what was needed. There were also many cases where the product could have made the process much easier by retaining previously provided information such as driver's license details (I am a returning customer) or by performing obvious checks on basic information and for inconsistencies rather than having me review the same information over and over. At the very end of the process, after I had reviewed all components and was proceeding to payment and final steps, I was suddenly told that I was missing a key detail that hadn't been asked about up until that point and which turned out to be difficult to go back and find. Also at the very end I was for some reason again pushed to upgrade to a tier I didn't need (and which at that point I wouldn't even be able to make much use of), as I had been throughout the process even though the reason was invalid (it kept claiming I had "sold stock", which I certainly didn't). All of this seemed designed to upsell me in a way it hadn't done in the past and I'm not sure I'll be using TurboTax in the future.

I remember the product being a lot better in the past. I will not use it again. It's not very helpful, and it's way too salesy. I understand people need to work, but it's way too salesy. It's horrible.

Your system doesnt talk to itself properly and why on earth is the annualized tax method .975bs % wrong ? The government knows how much I owe them. Its honestly a cash grab and kinda dumb that you lobby the gov so hard to make something harder than it needs to be for tens of thousands of people every year. End gov rant. Fix yo program.

incessant looping

there are parts that loop for no reason, like what is use tax and why can't it be 0? i made 0 purchases that weren't taxed by Ohio? if there are nuanced details like this they should just be explained so a farm animal could understand it because i literally do this once a year.
then for like 15 times it wouldn't take the name of a company i entered it just appeared blank and looped like a dozen times
and now - with this text box, everytime i type something, the text box is trying to decide what i'm talking about and changing the ai reviewed topics and literally killing my typing, even when i have it hidden. the only way i have found for it to work is if i type slowly like 30 wpm. which is painful
and why does it matter if i have a nickname or have the same nickname to anyone else?
altogether it basically makes taxes braindead to do, what's annoying about what encountered is just how out of character it was for the software to mess up like that
