User Friendly but Sneaky Fees

I really appreciate the convenience and user friendly integrations and helpful explanations. But every year I hate all the hidden fees and surprise processing fee and transaction fee that have very fine print explaining they aren't actually required. I have probably paid more fees than I'd like because I didn't read carefully and cleverly enough. Which just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that TurboTax is always scheming to squeeze more money out of me by being subtle and underhanded. All the bank integrations and ability to just upload a PDF of a tax document are incredible. I would just prefer the cost to use and file be upfront and informed, and not wait until I'm an hour in to sneak in more hidden fees.

Uncle Donny will save us all from the IRS. However, Intuit has done a great job of making me depressed every year because I calculate my shibble in advance and always owe. The third party credit card processing fee should be included in the return cost rather than a separate charge.
Otherwise, easy enough to use, not a bad interface. I recommend it vs personal file options but let's be honest... it`s shupe-bey-dupe we need to calculate our own taxes and it's so complex.
Intuit does a good job of walking me through the process and simplifying, but I would like more details and understanding included in the cost. Many items I do not understand at all, and I feel like I'm paying for the privilege.

Turbotax makes very easy to file my taxes on my own. It offers live help from tax experts if needed. I have been filing my taxes with turbotax for over 10 years and I will continue to do so.
