i dont' like using turbotax

i wanted to file more than one federal return and couldn't figure out how to get the desktop version. I could not see the actual return until just before i filed, instead of being able to see the form as I go along. Took forever to see how to just enter a state refund 1099-G. It didn't bring over last year's turbo tax data. So much advertising about adding Max. Looks totally different that last year's program and the s-corp turbotax program for 2024. Hate using it every year. I am an accountant.

Fix your software

your software does not have coding to accommodate 1099-B forms that do not have cost basis information or in situations where a form 3922 is not provided. "direct stock purchase plan" or DSPP exists and some people opt to reinvest small incremental dividends into purchasing fragments of shares but your software does not seem to know how to deal with that scenario and get caught in a loop of asking for information that does not exist on any 1099-B or any form not is it possible to go get archival information from a former employer's stock administrator.
