Happy but.......

I appreciate the ease of Turbotax as it is something I have used for many, many years. My only frustration with it is, much like everything else, it continues to get more expensive each year. My tax situation hasn't changed in years, and I would appreciate that, if I'm the one doing the work and filing my own taxes, then I shouldn't have to pay prices comparable to a tax company doing them for me.

Misleading Plans/Prices

Pricing options between the 3 plans and the add on MAX are confusing and it seems intentional. No option at the end before submission to change the options. Do better. Be better people. Be honest about what you are charging, and what the options are.

problems reporting foreign dividends

I got very bogged down on the interviews related to obtaining a foreign tax credit for taxes on foreign source dividends. I also got very bogged down convincing Turbotax that a promotional offer bonus I received from an investment firm for placing money with them was not self employment income
