I love the TurboTax simplicity. However, this is the first year we used online filing (only because DVDs are no longer sold) and HATE IT. The constant upselling and attempt to collect extra money at the end to get your refund 5 days early as annoying at best. Not to mention the increased risk of online hacking. Hoping TurboTax goes back to old school DVDs, which seemed so much more secure and less confusing.

Turbo tax is not as good as it used to be.

Even though I used Turbo tax last year none of my data was pulled in. I have always bought a CD and downloaded software. This year I was forced to use my Intuit account and I was not happy with my experience. I could not find things where they were in the old software. Took me forever to search and find the answers I needed. Not a good experience! bring back the old software!

Do not like the new Turbo Tax changes

I have used TurboTax for many years with a 5 score rating, but this year, things were different. While getting your return early for an extra $25 fee may be nice, I do not like the assumption of how you sign early, but do not agree until afterwards. A little wonky Turbo Tax. Had to go back and make sure I do not agree, but the final documents still show the $25 charge. If you charge me $25 when I did not ask for this, my score will change to 1 star and I will never use Turbo Tax again. Same thing with do you want x, you select the fee of $49, but then afterwards you have to pay an additional $99 for a specific form. If you want to remove the original fee because of the 2nd fee you have to start over. Very wonky Turbo Tax, and this may have me looking elsewhere next year.
