RMD issues clear as mud

I turned 73 in 2024. Turbo Tax RMD issues kept me going around in circles. I am pretty sure I have it right, but I am not going to pay Max prices for my piddly little IRA distribution. In 20+ years of doing Turbo Tax, it has never been anywhere near as frustrating as this year.
The way capital gains distributions is presented is very confusing. Instead of being included in the 1099-B (which for me shows a loss) its a seperate section and where distributions has alrady had losses subtracted from it but not what its total was. Just show Gains (includign distibutions) - Losses (ideally calling out the biggest couple in each) to show total capital gains
Turbo tax has also not been able to pull adjusted cost bases for my microsoft espp out of fidelity for the last 15+ years? So every year I have to go enter it by hand in a slow and error prone process even though its all in the 1099-B
The "ai" agent seemed like it was going be helpful presenting this year vs last year but then couldn't break down simple things like this years capital gains vs last year.
PA return got rejected due to an obvious error in the W2 upload process. The Turbo Tax product makes it seem like they are reviewing the inputs for these types of mistakes but it's just a show. Unacceptable for me to pay for a product to prepare my taxes and for it to miss that.
We have to pay to use this tool because Turbo tax lobbies congress to have it that way. The IRS should be doing this (which they are trying to do) but it's limited because of the constant lobbying done. Turbo tax is creating a false demand for their product.
