TurboTax needs to work on import of 1099-DIVs

It seemed unclear at points when importing the 1099-Div and other tax forms. Why doesn't it say, "Import 2024 tax statements" rather than an ambiguous "ADD" button? It didn't seem to work smoothly and cycled us in a circle for a bit for some reason. We were importing from Charles Schwab and yet it asked us to manually enter a number on a 1099-DIV. Also, had to go through and edit for all the covered calls because it was asking for cost basis amount. That was just irritating.

You said my estimate time to complete was 1.5 hrs. and it took me way longer. You charge too much for this software. I kept getting an error saying there were spaces in my employer withholding id's when there weren't FIX THIS

Still the best when it comes to tax e-filing and prepwork. The CONSTANT pestering to upgrade to live advisors, which are not needed by the vast majority of users, and the pushing of unnecessary opt-ins for third-party vendors, PLUS the last-minute attempt to nickel and dime you as you finish your refund info with overpriced tax refund advances shows just how far TurboTax has fallen.
If you fear inertia, by all means, stay with them, but gird your loins: Intuit does NOT want you to leave without their pound of flesh.
