My TurboTax experience was outstanding!

This being the first time I've used TurboTax, I ran into an issue that I was unable to resolve. I called for help and was put in touch with a gentleman named John from Alabama. He was not only extremely helpful, but very patient with me as he guided me through the process to resolve the issue I was having.
In a ranking of 1 - 5 stars, I give John a 10. The man deserves a raise!

Barely tolerable this year

Way more convoluted than previous years and a repetitive hawking of "pay for this upgrade" along with trying to take yet another $40 of my money just for "letting" me pay for the return out of my return was almost enough to make me want to just pay a local guy. Next year, I probably will. To change my payment method I had to spent another 20 minutes re-reviewing (for about the 3rd time) everything I'd already reviewed. Taxes suck. Stop making it more painful than it already is.

Turbotax charges too much money and are really pushy about unnecessary add-ons. But it's not like you can just not file your taxes....

the people who helped me were great. doing taxes online instead of with disc was harder because I had to call to find. where to go to add 1090 misc and several other payments.

What a relief! After years of paying an accountant $300 or more to do our taxes, the last two years with turbotax have been a breeze by comparison.
