I found this new version more challenging to navigate. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and this year I did not find it user friendly. I miss the on going updates of my refund status or what I will owe. I had to consult twice with an advisor for simple questions which I never had to do before mostly regarding updates on my progress with filing. The advisors were very helpful.

Did I even get charged again to amend my taxes??!

I'm in shock regarding how easy a tax amendment was - federal and state. I'm not clear about whether I was charged or not for this service, but I didn't ok anything to state I'd be charged. Hip hip HOORAY!! Thanks, TurboTax!

This was MUCH less intuitive and smooth as in past years. My taxes are not simple, but there was little no questions like "last year, you had this, would you like to add it?". It did not lead me through a logical progression, nor did it "pick up where you left off". I had to repeatedly go find where I was, clicking multiple boxes I'd already clicked multiple times. There were duplicate 1099s, only some of which TurboTax caught.
It appears to me that you are pushing the upgrade plans so hard, you have forgotten how to support the bread and butter customers. It may work out for you, but I'm definitely going shopping next year.
