Turbo tax 2024

A little difficult to manoeuvre. Had to keep going back to change things. Some was my fault.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments, I had a baby

A Bit Challenging

The TurboTax website was somewhat difficult to navigate. I tried to import my bank info and kept getting a message telling me it didn't work and to try again in a few hours. After trying several times I gave up. I finally tried again before bed and the info had been imported without me doing anything. I found it odd but maybe it kept trying to import it behind the scenes.

First time filing on my own!

Almost 40 and just divorced, I have never filed taxes on own before. I learned so much from TurboTax and appreciated the step-by-step Q&A format. Because I am filing single this year and not able to claim my son until next year, I was told by Jackson Hewitt that I would OWE about $1400! However, when I finished with Turbotax, I was GETTING over $2k! Thank you so much! I also saved $65 by not filing with the local accountant that I used last year.

Its ok taxes are not fun

Process was ok but too expensive. I don't think there should be a fee for direct deposit when you collect interest for my money being in your account
