Saves me time.

I've been using it for years. It saves me time. It is worth the money. They should stop lobbying Congress to block the IRS from offering a similar service for free.

My Go-To tax preparation for many years

TurboTax has been my choice for many years. For uncomplicated, or even mildly complex tax situations, TurboTax walks you through the steps and makes the process easy and intuitive. I notice that the process changes slightly from year to year, to streamline entries. This year I ran into an unusual situation, and the Customer Service person spent considerable time helping sort this out.

I used TurboTax to file my taxes, and overall, the experience was smooth. The step-by-step guidance made it easy to enter my income and deductions, especially since it automatically imports W-2s and 1099s from many financial institutions. The real-time refund calculator was helpful in tracking my return.
