Expensive AND software sucks.

Tax form from Koinly for crypto did not pickup the buy and sell dates. Had to enter this in MANUALLY for 226 transactions. They were clearly printed on the tax form, TurboTax should've picked those up, if not for buggy software. Will not be using TurboTax again. Also charged me $204 to file, ridiculous.

First time Turbo Tax and found it to be easy to do. Sometimes not knowing were we go took some time to figure out.

Crypto Review Process Slow

The review process for crypto transactions is atrociously slow and can't really be done in bulk. I had to create a script to process them all one at a time to make the same selections. Even just typing this review out is bugged as it keeps switching review topics and undoing some of the text I type.

Some good and some bad for 2026 Turbo Tax

The professional expert was really helpful. The AI chatbot is only mildly helpful, it usually would get into a loop and if you couldn't solve it you would need an expert. Some of the review options were more confusing than helpful, specifically when there was not a back button. Most of us users always need a back button, we may experiment as we try to understand what specific information is and what it does. I feel like this year's 2026 Turbo Tax was a little more complicated and less helpful than it has been in the past, and I've been using Turbox Tax since 2015.
