Turbotax is amazing

The experience is very good and nice. The AI generated topics was helpful but in some case like the Ordinary Dividend for the State return, the AI suggested that i can review the state return for the same but could not find it exactly in the location provided by AI

Total overpriced garbage for 100% self file nearly $300. dual file and state returns are a sloppy mess and confusing. doesn't check eligibility with credits automatically, have to go through each one. hate this company, total scam ripoff. state file is junk and not nearly as polished as federal. If filing taxes wasn't awful enough, being price gouged and hidden fee scammed while doing it just makes it that much more unbearable and miserable experience. I want to throw up. I threw up. Even their review form is hot garbage.

This is the first time I've used TurboTax to file my taxes myself. In the past, I had the help of my brother-in-law who's an accountant. I found the experience to be fairly straightforward and easy to use. I do wish there were more in-depth explanations of the "do's and don'ts" for various forms of taxable income.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Turbotax Online sucks the big one!!

Turbotax online sucks.. For 10 year TT desktop has worked great. I couldnt use the desktop version because I am not upgrading to win 11. Both IRS and FTB rejected my returns. Guess why?? because the info that I inputted with my phone had all wrong info. For example, comma was inthe wrong place so 8,5550 became 855,50!!!I am swithching to linux, and even I I werent I would neverUse Turbotax again.
