Good experience but after a certain amount of years filing with the same tax service, I expect a free service code at least. I've been with Turbo Tax for at least 10 years or more. I love filing with them and its so easy to do, I would always recommend Turbo Tax to my friends and family,

Could be better

I don't like that my expected payment or return is not visible the entire time.
I also had problems with my 1099 being auto-populated into the presumption that I might get tax deductions for the state of oklahoma. I had a very hard time getting them excluded (if at all)

It was better last year

I had a bad experience with turbo tax this year, it seems very glitchy. I allowed turbo tax to access my bank and pull in my 1099 electronically, but it didn't pull in anything and I had to type in all the info myself. Also I had to redo several sections to indicate that I am active duty military (it kept trying to charge me even though turbo tax is advertised as free for military members.)

I have been using the DIY Premium for years. This year I inadvertently used the "Live" version. There was NO WARNING telling me that I was using a different version. I didn't know until I had spent HOURS and when I saw the potential credit card charge that was $100 more, I was puzzled and shocked. Then your support rep told me what happened. She was very helpfull and courteous but she told me that she could not switch me to the lower versio that i had always used and that I had to delete all my work and start from scratch. This was horrible as I had to spend another day getting everything squared away.
Plus, I HATE that you always bug me to upgrade to some MAX level of service.
STOP IT!
