Why I Keep Returning Year After Year

I've been using TurboTax since the pandemic and it's been great. I absolutely love how they keep my information from year to year so that I don't have to spend time re-entering so much of my information. This is actually kind of easy to file using their service even though it did take me a bit longer the first time. I tried a few other services and didn't like them at all. TurboTax was the most intuitive for me and the easiest. I plan to continue using their service every year.

Consistently worse every year

Constantly have to reanswer questions if you go back. Had to go through every single crypto sell and stock sell to mark as not an Oklahoma asset. Seems to ask questions it should know the answer to based on already know info like taxable income. Had to import from Coinbase twice to get all the information. It also does not track progress between desktop and mobile. This cause multiple documents to get imported twice which I had to notice and go back to delete.

I felt it was a little harder to navigate. Trying to enter my 1095-A form even after uploading. I felt it should have been able to autofill data.

TurboTax is Awesome

This was the smoothest tax preparing I have done. I shied away from doing it last couple of years and hired a Tax Preparer. $500 dollars laters, they would generate the same results I could do for myself. Great experience and it was simple, fast and a lot cheaper.
