Horrible website management and information

I do not understand why I am paying for both the "free" and "deluxe" version at the same time when it seems like an option you just select one and pay that premium. I understand that stock options clearly makes it more difficult to process but I do not understand on top of the "free" and "deluxe" option, I also need to pay an addition $40 now. It seems like just taxpayer jargon to stack additional charges at the end when you have already entered already and spent an hour to use their website. On top of that, I have looked through online sources that there is free versions of Turbotax but it is just hidden.
