JUST OK

I have processed my taxes for several years and never had an issue. This year seems I kept getting the run around and it was not as comfortable as in years past. And then at every other click they wanted more money to process.
It maybe time to stop doing this since it doesn't seem to be a way of saving money.

Turbo Tax lets you do a little at a time.

I'm retired, and I've done taxes for 45 years. Unfortunately the tax rules change yearly now. There is no way I could keep up with it. Turbo Tax has the latest information and rules , and walks you through the state and the federal return. It took me 2 hours even. Not bad! The fees were on par with doing it other ways.

The UI was mostly unresponsive and wouldnt allow me to put the information that was required. I also didnt expect to be switched from the free service to the premium service.

Process should be getting better and better each year but this year it did a bad job of uploading my documents and made me review every single transaction from my 1099-inv form
