User friendliness is now behind paywall

It was more difficult to use this year. Some screens I only had access to in the review at the end, when I was asked about something being blank, although I could not actually get to the screen they referenced. Also, on a tablet, you cannot select away from the midlevel price that is preselected at the start.

bait and switch!!

lots of back and forth and buttons in the app sometimes do not take you back to the previous step - also, I filed on 02/28/2024 and was supposed to receive a $40 credit from TurboTax but on the last page before I filed it said that cost was $129. Not a great feeling - will have to see what my return looks like when it hits my account.

TurboTax Just Lost a Loyal Custome

This process was egregiously expensive and overly complicated. Fixing minor problems was made all but impossible. If possible I will NOT be using TurboTax to file next year based on this miserable experience. When trying to make minor adjustments on self employment expenses I was forced to go through a carousel of questions rather than given access to the one cell I was tying to correct. Not to mention in between EACH category I was being prompted with up charges, drastically slowing down my process. So much hate keeping. So much time WASTED. I am giving up on TurboTax entirely. Not to mention three server crashes from start to finish. Unacceptable.
