Inexpensive and useful. Not as good as it once was

Most of the system works smooth. However, I had issues this year I have not had in the past. These issues included tax information from previous years not transcribing over to this year even though I have been filing with TurboTax for over 5 years. I was also very disappointed to learn that this year. TurboTax no longer offers free state tax returns for military.

beware of the live version

I had to start my taxes and clear everything multiple times because I kept being forced to purchase the live version for TRIPLE the price. it was a complete trick to make you think that was the only version available for my needs.

Honestly had no idea how to do my taxes...TurboTax took me from a stack of forms to a completed filing in under 2 hours with minimum stress (of course not none, it is paying taxes after all).
