A bit clumsy in places. I started the home mortgage interest but decided to skip it since it was a very small amount, and I didn't have detailed data. But TurboTax kept asking me to fill it in with no way for me just delete it. For the 1099-K from eBay, it kept saying it needed attention, but when I reviewed it nothing was highlighted as a problem. For royalties, entered names and addresses, and later it used addresses as if they were names.

I really despise doing taxes, but TurboTax makes it so easy to get everything in order and done in a flash. THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!! I love the animations, the artwork, and all the little characters. It makes the whole process a little more fun. :) I appreciate that I can search for answers to all my questions. The Q&A is solid. Finding and sorting deductibles is a breeze, too. Thank you for making my life so much easier.

Why pay a tax preparer if you don't itemize

The TurboTax experience was really good. There were a couple of areas that were difficult to understand. For instance, if you have an investment IRA account where you make you own investments but your brokerage sends you a 1099-DIV based on all each investment. I would improve recommendations on being able to input that information into the tax information fields. End on a high note. After being sorely disappointed in the amount of work my last tax preparer put into my returns, turn-around time, and price, this was a great option for me to invest my time and labor. Great price to process my taxes. Don't raise the price.
