Turbo tax is great... for a PRICE

Turbo Tax is easy to use, only problem is the prices have gone up drastically in the past few years. Was very nice when you could file federal for free. Max has been a nice protection added for a decent price. Overall, I recommend this service, just wish the prices hadn't hiked so much in the past few years.

Disappointed in non-agreed to additional fees

I did the taxes for my father and his cost $35. When I signed in to do my personal taxes it said it would charge me $99. But when I completed my return Turbo Tax charged me $129, when I did not agree to any additional products or fees. So I was a bit disappointed when it cost me not that much less than my accountant would've charged me to find out that I owed money even with deductions. Pretty frustrated.

Love to use Turbo tax file my tax along the time

This is the 4th year I use Turbo Tax to file our family tax return. It's effecient, convenient and easy to use. I got my return in a couple of hours under their step by step guidance. Really enjoy it and worry free to use. The price is reasonable and service is perfect. Highly recommended and will continue to use it.

Too many things aren't carried over from one year to the next and/or are not explained - especially when it comes to state taxes (California.) The discount I was due for completing my return by midnight 2/28/25 disappeared when I was delayed by the program multiple times for "fixes" that weren't really necessary.
