Easy. Quick. Accurate! I paid $650 last year for no reason and did not get my max refund. This year, I am getting the MAX with a 6th of the cost.

Turbotax is dishonest

Ive always regarded turbo tax as using shady practices in terms of upgrading services. In years prior the platform seemed to allow you to use the free version while claiming a deduction to student loan interest. Now you are forced to upgrade to a premium version, furthermore it seems that the service has so many add ons like fees for paying with your return or fees for expedited deposit of funds. I think this platform is dishonest and cant wait for future class action lawsuits against it.

Too expensive!!!

Taxes are easy to get done, however you get charged out the *insert choice word here* for services. I was self-employed this year so I was forced to buy a service that would assist me. It was $140 and I didn't even need to use the features, but because I was self-employed it was forced. After all of that, there is a $40 processing fee to file them?? I ended up paying more in fees than my return really was.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I had a baby

TurboTax is easy to use and get help if needed. I have been using it for a few years now to file my taxes and will continue to do so.
