I have used Intuit Turbox Tax for many years. This is the first time that I have EVER be dissatisfied with the product. It took me 4 days to file a simple tax return. I had to keep trying to figure out how I ended up in Expert Assist Delux mode and then trying to figure out how to get out was even more of a challenge and other features within the site gave me issues. Also, I understand that Turbox Tax needs to make money, but some of fees can be a bit much. I spent $128 dollars in fees just to file a $340 tax return. That's ridiculous! I know there is a "free" version but is it truly free? Now I see why the IRS is trying to make a way for tax filers to file direct in more states instead of using products like Turbo Tax. Hopefully, next year will be better. Once upon a time I highly recommended Turbo Tax to many people.

Over $120 just to file my incredibly basic taxes and get my money directly deposited into my account is egregious and embarrassing. Whod've thunk that a company that has been "helping" people file their taxes for generations would choose to squeeze any penny they can. How are you gonna charge me for wanting direct deposit and then charge me again for actually using the direct deposit. $35 just to autofill info you've had for years. What a joke.
