Turbo Tax charges even when they say its free

Turbo tax markets their service as free throughout the entire process, and then charges $128 at the end of filing. Why am I being marketed a free service and then being charged? Why am I being charged $35 for a direct deposit into my bank account? Why am I being charged for a service I was told was free?
