Turbotax - good for Federal - not State

Federal was fine, but the state pension deduction was messed up and there is nobody to talk to without paying for an expert. Don't need an expert, just someone to explain where the numbers came from. It had me deducting one third of my pension income, when 100% is not taxed by Kansas. Will do the State return the old fashioned way, and save myself over 1500 you say I owe.
