False Advertising

Always advertised as file for free. Then makes you pay at the end of filing your own taxes. I understand charging a little if you do direct deposit but If you select the free option at the beginning of filing you taxes you should not be made to pay at the end. False advertisement is what that is. Anyone who filed for "free" but was charged should be issued a refund and turbo tax should update its advertising. It is not free at all!

TurboTax makes going to jail an appealing option.

This was honestly an absolute nightmare. I've been using TT for years and will probably still use them, but the amount of time and effort to do even the slightest thing has become such a chore that I'd almost rather go to jail than put up with it. I barely got a tax return back and they still had the audacity to charge me over a hundred bucks to file.
