Surprise fee

Product worked great, but I thought it was free and I got charged $143 plus tax. I didn't know it was going to charge me. I thought I had declined all the options. It took me by surprise but it was too late. I needed to file my taxes, very disappointed.

TurboTax is a money grab

TurboTax is one of the most frustrating things because it allows you to believe you're doing the free version and filing your taxes basically yourself - and then catches you right at the end with unexpected fees that you can't avoid paying unless you want to start completely over. This very well may be our last year using TurboTax. We used a different service last year and decided to give it another chance this year, and regret it.
