Incredibly obtuse to figure out how to use the non-delux version, and seemingly impossible to reset once you've accidentally done so!

Getting worse

Used to be seamless. Now it doesnt integrate with the pdfs you upload. It should also read last years returns. Finally, the website is glitchy and questions are redundant.

For the most part Turbotax is easy to use. It takes a while to complete even for a basic return but it's still way more convenient than having someone else do it for you.

turbotax needs a bit of fixing.

the one box that needs to be filled for property tax should have an actual guide for finding the tax price, the line 2 f col. a. if you don't understand what i mean, its because after jumping through hoops just to find what it was, i didn't completely feel like remembering it because of how frustrating it was. it was only after i found it that relief took over and i didn't care any more. non the less, im not the only person thats had this issue, so i would recommend figuring out how to fix it.

Turbo tax is very easy and coinvent. They help you walk through the process from the start to the end. Also very affordable. I was able to upload my w-2s.

No better way to do your taxes

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 4 or 5 years now. Never been a problem and taxes come back quickly. Turbo Tax goes over the tax laws each year and upgrades the system to ensure that you are getting the latest and the most accurate format to submit your taxes.

Got forced to pay almost $200

I have used turbo tax for years and this year when I started the free return I was forced to pay $167 in "turbo tax fees". Throughout the whole process I clicked the free options or no to the upcharges.
