TurboTax is Too Expensive

Advertisements claimed filing would be free if I did not file with TurboTax last year. I did not file with TurboTax last year, and yet the discount was not even mentioned. I have filed with TurboTax in previous years.
The bank transfer fees were very high. I should not have to pay $30 - $40 per direct deposit. It should be capped at $10 maximum for BOTH my federal and state returns. I should have to pay ZERO dollars to deduct my fees from my return. Absolutely ridiculous to charge me an additional $40 to take my money.
Everything else was fine.
I will not use TurboTax next year. Nor will I use Ramsey's SmartTax, which I used last year. I will search for a much cheaper option, at least less than half what I paid. I will file by hand, with paper, if I cannot find a reasonably priced service. These services are not worth the fees. They are not worth even half the amount of fees they want to charge you.
