Split-State Issues

Cannot file state taxes for split-state couples. It was an absolute nightmare trying to figure it out, and there are no resources or ways to edit the forms. I have to do our state taxes separately.

Turbo Tax asked to many irrelevant questions.

It ask to many questions that are irrelevant to the tax return. I am a CPA and I thought this would be quick and easy for my personal return. For example asking numerous times about storing credit card information, and other items.

TurboTax is not not as great this year

I had to completely redo my taxes because I had a feeling that a 61,000 refund from the state and a 6,000 federal refund were inaccurate. When I typed in all my information myself rather than taking pictures of my documents, the return looked more reasonable.
Also, on many screens, there is no option to scroll to the bottom of the page.

Couldn't properly revise

This year, it was extremely difficult to return to sections to make revisions. The pages would not load properly and/or populate in order. For example, I couldn’t correct whether I had lived in the U.S. for at least six months; once I selected or deselected an option, I couldn’t go back to change it. As a result, I had to restart the entire application.

Very easy and good guidance! I was dreading filing my taxes this year but it only took about twenty minutes and I feel it was very accurate.
